Terms of service

Design and development work we do for clients is governed by a separate written agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement wins.

You can sign in to the showcase with GitHub or Google. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your sign-in provider secure. You must be at least 16 to create an account.

You keep ownership of the content you submit, such as extension listings. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and promote that content on xtended.in and in related channels such as newsletters and social posts, for as long as it stays on the site.

When you launch an extension, you confirm that you made it or have the right to list it, and that the listing is accurate.

You agree not to:

• List extensions that contain malware, spyware or deceptive behaviour, or that violate the policies of the store they're published in.
• Manipulate votes or rankings, including through multiple accounts, bots or paid votes.
• Impersonate someone else, or list products you don't have the right to represent.
• Post content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful or harassing.
• Interfere with the site's security or operation, or scrape it at a rate that degrades service.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.

Showcase listings link to third-party stores and websites. We don't control them, and listing a product is not an endorsement. Install extensions at your own discretion and review their permissions.

The xtended name, logo, website design and code belong to us. These terms don't grant you any right to use them beyond normal use of the site.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the extent the law allows, xtended is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to ₹5,000.

You can stop using the site and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify signed-in users. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
